Article 12 – Prohibition of filters and digital alterationsThe presentation, publication, or use of photographs containing filters, digital effects, or modifications that alter the real appearance of the person, object, or situation depicted is prohibited.Prohibited alterations include, among others: facial retouching, color changes, deformations, automatic beauty effects, incorporation of digital elements, and any editing that modifies the original image.Only basic adjustments of brightness, contrast, or sharpness that do not alter the essential content of the photograph will be allowed.Non-compliance with this provision may result in disqualification, rejection of the document, or application of sanctions according to the present regulation.
